Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all my fans...... We have so much to celebrate, give thanks for and look forward to. There are no words to properly say it except Happy New Year and Much Love!

Santa Wuz Here!

Alessandro had a perfect first Christmas - filled with excitement! We stayed in the city and had a nice quiet Christmas together - likely our first and last quiet one..... We all went to church on Christmas Eve where our friend Ava Moore (in photo here with Mr. Claus) payed the part of the beautiful baby Jesus perfectly. We then turned in early to dream about Santa. On Christmas morning Santa, via SC Alabama and Florida delivered many perfect gifts for little Alessandro. He was thrilled with all the new loot and has been playing with everything.

Thank you notes are on the way for all your generosity, but until then enjoy some photos of the little happy peanut on his first Christmas morning.

Engagement News!

All - such exciting news that two of Alessandro's favorite people are engaged! Evelyn his birthday buddy and Dinesh his second favorite wolfpacker are going to be getting married next summer. We are of course overjoyed at the news here and Alessandro thinks this is BIG BIG BIG. Like my new play phone big...... Here is a photo of the lovely couple with the little peanut! Love is fantastic!

Congratulations we are so very happy!

Eight Months -

Alessandro is now Eight Happy Months Old! There is lots of excitement as he tries to learn new things. Currently he is rocking back and forth while trying to get into the correct crawling position (however his bumm can not get off the ground so we are not going anywhere just yet).

Alessandro is also transitioning to solid foods which has not been easy - however we are hopeful once we get through vegetables that nice sweet fruits will be easier (if he gets that from me).

Lastly Alessandro still loves school and the best way to get him to do anything is to practice the old peer pressure as in "look Alden is eating his peas and carrots." We are not above using this tactic at all knowing one day we will wish fore the opposite. Such excitement!
P.S. These photos with Aunt Deb are from her visit for Mommy's Birthday which was fantastic!

Santa Time!

Alessandro was lucky enough to run into this guy this weekend!

It seems after the initial confusion about him being a boy (yes the outfit is a little "classic" as David would point out), Santa assured us all that we are in for a great holiday!

Lucky for all Alessandro is not old enough to know to be afraid of the scary man in the red suit, so our first visit together went out without a lump of coal in sight.

Look for more holiday greeting photos coming your way soon!

XOXO

Mama Claus

Update

More recent photos for everyone to enjoy!
1) One more photo with Grandma!
2) Alessandro working the newcomers reception at church - Great Work!
3) His favorite new toy which we had to buy since it a) stimulates crawling/movement and b) since he howls every time they take him off it at school
4) Oatmeal - enough said!

Pops and Superboy!

While Mommy was away forever on a work trip - Pops came up from Florida to hang out with "The Boys." All three seemed to have a good time hanging out and exploring the city together. Pops is also so much help to David in my absence that we can never fully explain it here or anywhere else.

We love Pops!

Happy Thanksgiving - Mama Boal Visits!

Mama Boal aka Nonna visited for Thanksgiving. We had a lovely time all together (with Deb and Sean) and received our first "Family Blessing" that morning. Alessandro loved just sitting with Nonna and reading and can not wait for her to visit again soon!

Also he can not wait to have real turkey next year as Daddy's tasted fantastic!

Seven Months Flown By!

Yes it is true Alessandro is seven months old. He can sit up by himself and seems very interested in everything around him. He still can not roll over (guess he missed that one) or crawl, but we are not eager for real movement just yet.

Alessandro continues to love school and the very artistic creations just keep on coming (we are now auctioning them off for those who are truly interested). Now we are just looking forward to spending the holidays with all our family and beloved friends.

More Halloween Fun!

All here are some more photos from the carnival at church. Alessandro seemed a little young for the fun but it was a nice pre-view for the years to come.
