This week we were lucky to have so many fun activities that just fell into our schedule. We had lunch with a friend and her boys on Tuesday, a picnic lunch at the "loop" playground (which is "Awesome" per ADL) and trip to the Nature Center on Wednesday and finally a trip to the zoo on Thursday with our friend and her little daughter who is Nino's age. All and all it was a very full week and the boys have been worn out each day which has been working for Mom.
This weekend we are going to be here - guess the elite would call it a "staycation" holiday. We are planning to work around the house and go to the "Italian Festival" with ADL's friend Seamus. Yes we are so Italian we looked for a nice Irish boy to bring along.
Most importantly Mama Boal is having her birthday on Saturday - she is in Florida to celebrate with hopefully nice weather and the pool without us (sniff sniff), but she will be here in two weeks to celebrate with us. Of course please send her an email to mark the date - she will be so pleased - HA!
Next week we are looking forward to "School Night" on Wednesday and the first day of school on Thursday. Nino has a follow up appointment with the md on Thursday and then we are free to enjoy the weekend and Nino turning 6 months - so hard to believe.
Of course the week after that is when everyone will be here for ADL's baptism but alas we are getting ahead of ourselves. Enjoy the long weekend! XOXOXO
