We had a great week with all the visitors and excitement. We went shoe shopping with ADL who is up to a 9 1/2 already - yes the shoes are expensive and yes we do buy very nice shoes much to Daddy's sticker shock. Alessandro continues to love school and has brought home some fun art projects this week. They have told us not to ask "what is it?" and to ask "tell me about this" which is supposed to lead to much more abstract and creative thought. So far he brought home an apple and said it was "an apple" and some other painting that was also red so that was "an apple" as well - perhaps we need to practice this exercise? ADL's favorite word right now is "almost" and he answers "almost" every question this way. Are you done with your cereal "almost" are you ready for bed "almost" of course it is just a stall technique which was cute in the beginning but now is a little bit old on the nerves. Come visit with lot of patience of course.
Nino is having a ball these days. He loves being in the car in his new car seat - which is much more comfortable then his baby chair and much better for a cat nap in the school pick up line. Nino wants to sit up very bad but continues to just fall over ever so slightly top heavy.... perhaps next week will bring some progress with this? Nino also continues to LOVE blueberries much to the peril of other fruits and vegetables. Mommy is convinced this is just a passing phase but Daddy is convinced he will be an un-balanced eater for the rest of his life. Only time will tell but if anyone knows the Nature's Best folks -we have quite a candidate for spokesman. Have a great week! XOXO
