We had a lovely breakfast with Santa this week - Alessandro was very excited to see the BIG guy which is quite an improvement over the hysterics of last year (whew). We had a breakfast at church and we went to the later seating because it is much more "calm" then the early morning excitement. Both Alessandro and Antonio kept their eye on Santa until it was their turn and then gladly went to sit on his lap. Alessandro was a little shy in telling him what he wants but luckily Daddy had helped him put it all in a letter which of course served the purpose. He did tell Santa that he and his brother had been very good - which seemed to please Santa. When the event was over and we were ready to leave - ADL seemed a little apprehensive - when I asked if he wanted to tell Santa goodbye he said "Hot Wheels Garage" (what he is asking for) and we realized that he thought this was cash and carry. We quickly explained that we still had to wait until Santa came on Christmas Eve - making it a little more like Amazon then Target (this is how you explain things to a retail baby).
We had a great time and hope the photos show the joy we have for the season.
Now to get back to baking and finishing those Christmas Cards -
XOXO
