The boys are giving extra special thanks this year for their family - Nonna and Aunt Deb/Uncle Sean were here for Thanksgiving and they were over the moon with excitement. Nonna of course has spoiled both boys with loot (especially two great looking winter coats) and lots of story time. Deb and Sean literally wore them out running at the park and around the house for two entire days. Deb and Sean also brought lots of early Christmas presents and let them both open one (this reminded us that we are in for quite a lot of excitement later this month on the BIG day).
For the feast - David made a lovely turkey and we had lots of delicious trimmings - Mama did her best Martha impression by baking three types of pies which we all enjoyed a little too much (yumm). ADL did not try any turkey but he did sample the potatoes and a little whip cream (wonder where he gets his new sweet tooth?). Of course there was lots of football, a wine tasting game, and a time to count all of our countless blessings.
Now that everyone is gone - the boys are totally sad and lonely but luckily we are back at school and all the excitement that brings. XOXO
