Beach Time For Us -

The boys left Columbia for our beach adventure at Wild Dunes with Nonna and Aunt Deborah. We stayed at our favorite place - Grand Pavilion at Wild Dunes where the houses are right at the beach and there are pools and lots of fun kid activities for all. The boys swam everyday, played on the beach, built sand castles and just liked exploring on the island. We rented a double stroller there so we could get around and Deb helped Mama with pulling the little guys around. There were virtually no rules at the pool so we played with all the toys and floats that we had - bonus was that there was pool side drink service which is key.... We ate pizza at the house, at the resort restaurant and luckily at Aunt Jennifer's to visit with her growing brood. At the restaurant - the kids got to make their own ice cream sundaes and Nino gladly ate two complete treats - Nino also got to try shrimp and grits which was also exciting.... yumm.. At Jennifer's we were lucky to have time to enjoy a delicious meal, see her new house, let the boys play with Stoughton and most exciting of all see little baby Marilyn who is perfect. Our boys better fly right if they are hoping to court that Palmetto Princess.

All and all it was the prefect vacation - the boys had a great time playing with Nonna and Aunt Deborah, they got to wear all the cute little outfits that daddy hates (see matching plaid outfits with hats) and we learned that given time little Nino will wash his little feet at an outdoor shower for hours.... So much fun - think next time we will have to take Daddy as well. XOXO

P.S. Thanks for all the calls and emails about the weather - Earl (aptly named at this is Nonna's middle name) skirted right by us further north with little more then a larger surf visible. There were not even clouds in the sky. We were very lucky to be able to enjoy all the fun.
