We had a blast staying with Mama Boal for a week - we spent time in Columbia and the beach which were both fantastic. At Mama Boal's house the boys loved playing the piano, running around and of course looking at all the photos of themselves all over the house (little ham biscuits). While we were in Columbia we also all went to the Columbia Children's Museum or EdVenture which was fantastic. There the boys got to drive a firetruck, slide down the fireman's pole, build in a giant Lego room, drive a Volkswagen beetle (this we could not get ADL out of), act out their own newscast, play all kinds of music, play in a "Blue Man Group,"camp, climb through a human body, follow a water shed, visit a butterfly garden, ride a camel, serve food at a diner, pick peaches from the farm, ride a tractor, milk a cow and my personal favorite work at the Piggly Wiggly. Now for those of you who do not understand the last comment - "The Pig" is the local grocery so at the museum the boys got to go through a little store with their shopping carts and then Nino checked them out (he can scan and ring) and Alessandro paid with his credit card and helped to bag. It was all so cute and the boys really did love it. Also at Nonna's we played at the park right down the street, visited the old church, ate at our favorite restaurant twice (we knew the boys would like Greek food so well) and just loved being home even for a short time. Am sure more adventures await at the beach - yippee! XOXOXO
