We are very blessed that our township in New Jersey does something very special for the kids at Christmas. Our town's fire department brings Santa to every one's home to deliver special toys to all the little ones who live here. Of course at our house that means the boy's two favorite things in the entire world are joined together Santa and Firetrucks (firemen). How exciting.....
Now Mom and Dad had some idea that the visit was coming so we calmly waited around the house that morning (luckily PopPop was here to contribute constant reading services). Then the doorbell rang just as we were preparing for lunch and we ran out into the street where Santa was coming down the street on the front of the largest fire truck we have. How exciting.... The boys both got Lightning McQueen toys which thrilled them and have not stop talking about how Santa came to visit them in such exciting fashion since. Little Alessandro has the photo of all the excitement up in his room and reminds everyone that Santa came to see him on the Firetruck. How fun. XOXO
