Alessandro had an excellent time at Sports Camp - of course it was the week that it was over 100 degrees each day but that is beside the fun. So we lathered up in Sun Block, put on our hats and went out each day to learn about sports. Each day was a new sports adventure - Lacrosse, basketball, field hockey, soccer and T-Ball. We were lucky that Nino is very interested in sports and just sat there patiently watching waiting for brother to take his water breaks with him and discuss what they were doing. Each day we brought out their little Cars chairs so they could sit and discuss like old men together. Jamie also kindly sat out there with us entertaining the kids with bubble blowing and sidewalk chalk while the rest of us complained and tried to think of diversions like ice pops, letting the little ones watch movies in the cars and driving around in the air conditioning for the baby. Alessandro loved his coach and tried really hard to do everything she asked which was fun. As a side note he is also getting a little embarrassed by Mom and asks that she stay on the sidelines and not "make him nervous." We all knew this day was coming but not at age four right??? ADL continues to love soccer and basketball above all other sports which is easy to figure out since they are David's true loves. Hopefully we can do "Sports Squirts" again soon on a much cooler week. HA! XOXOXO
