Updates -

Angelo is doing well and is now officially a "wiggle worm" - he is trying to roll over (I know genius) and always scoots down to crouching tiger position in his easy chair no matter how he is positioned. His favorite thing is to be held of course - his second is chillaxing in his new fancy "Nap Nanny" (thanks Auntie Tressa) where he goes to get a break during the day. He still is sleeping pretty well and loved all the excitement around him with the boys. Speaking of the brothers - at dinner the other night - Antonio just kind of announced that he could say his ABC's (he is 2) and did. So exciting - grabbed the camera and tried to get all the excitement and how proud he was. There is never a dull moment around here to be sure. XOXO

All About Alessandro - Summer Camp -

Alessandro had a great start to summer with Plus Time - Camp for the first two weeks after school was out. There were mostly the same kids from the school year plus a few more friends with his beloved teacher Mrs. B for all the fun. Each day he got to being his lunch - peanut butter sandwich of course - and each day had a really fun theme that we got to dress as along with cool projects and activities. There was beach day, earth day, patriotic day, pajama day (Superman of course), music day (it seems you do not get sent home for wearing a Jimmy Buffet and the Coral Refer shirt to St. P's) and Sundae day. Yummm. Alessandro also made a guitar, learned about the ocean, planted sunflowers (thanks Grammie for helping us replant for the garden) and made three necklaces over the week. He had a great time and loved every minute. We miss Mrs. B already each day and look forward to a great new school year next year. XOXO

Angelo's First Weeks -

Baby Angelo has been so surrounded by love and we are so thankful. He has had his grandparents making over him and his Auntie and Uncle here to visit.... The boys continue to love on him and be patient with us while we take care of him. The boys are also very helpful with getting his bottles and his binkies when we need them. So far we have not been out that much just walking to the park, finishing up school and hanging out around the house. Also the boys are thrilled because our summer fun babysitter Jamie has started coming over to play with them (she is just having fun with the big brothers) and they have loved every minute even when they are just in the basement creating havoc. Current loves of the big ones, playing tag (much to our lack of quiet), picnics, Swim Club visits, Curious George, ice pops, playing in the sprinkler (thanks Grammie) and wearing shorts/sandals. Also in BIG news Antonio has left the nursery to sleep in a big boy bed in Alessandro's room. This transition seemed to go rather well sans the conversations at night after bedtime which are actually very cute. Now the nursery has been left for little Angelo to have all to himself when he is ready. Thanks for all the cards, gifts and dinners (the photo is of the cupcakes that were brought over by Christine with dinner one night). We feel very fortunate as always. So much excitement. XOXOXO

Memorial Day Parade -

Yes it is our absolute favorite time of the year - Memorial Day - Now only do we get to salute our veterans, give a shout out to America and enjoy our little hometown parade - we get to do it all from the driveway of our own home... Yes any of you who want a little slice of Americana mark your calender for next year - It is so nice to see everyone out to celebrate all that is good with our country and spend so much time with all the families. A good time was had by all even the new baby. XOXOXO

Memorial Day Party -

We were very lucky to go to a very fun Memorial Day Pool party celebration - we went with all the boys and had a great time until the weather interfered with all the fun. The boys really loved seeing all the kids, participating in their first water balloon toss and watching Daddy and PopPop eat lots of delicious BBQ. A great time was definitely had by all. And to top it all off when we got home the boys saw a really cook blimp flying right over the house in the back yard. They were literally ecstatic and are still talking all about it and how they hope they will see another blimp today. Not sure if they are covering baseball or what but I hope we see lots of course. How exciting!!! XOXO
